...there were a higher-resolution version available of O. Sharp's
brilliant LOTR parody film...I would buy it if it were for sale, our Film
Society (for which I am Faculty Advisor) would gladly pay
public-performance
rights...unless the original has no better resolution, due to the
long-ago-
time computer limitations of when it was made (2001).
BTW, the CWRU Film Society screens our 35 mm print of "Casablanca"
as the free first movie of every fall semester. Even though we own the
print, we still have to pay Warner Bros. heirs and assigns for the public
performance rights. This parody would go great on our Fall 2008 schedule,
especially since we are showing the Jackson FOTR later in the semester.
Better 320 x 240 than nothing, I guess :-)
