terry may as well have retitled it for closely how it resembles the books 
its loosely (never was a better word used) "based on".

Is there any point in writing descriptions of characters then just 
completely ignoring them when you make a movie?
liessa & herena stand out in that field big time.
it just seemed to me terry sat down 1 day & thought "how much can i change

in this story & get away with it so their still buying the books & will be

willing to buy these dvd's too".  terry sat down that day and engaged 
devious bastard mode.
clearly vadim did the exact same thing on the 1st day of shooting & didn't

bother turning it off until they'd finished.
it's almost reminiscent of mike mansfield's video treatment of jean-michel

jarre's destination docklands.
screwed up almost beyond recognition.
