I've started one of my periodic rereads of the Blue Rose books, but
this time switched the order up and started with the Throat.
My favorite in the series is KOKO, but this time the Throat really has
me captivated.
There is one thing that I've always been curious about in the early
part of the book. Remember how Tim sees Ransom and his partner taking
who they think is Bachelor back to civilization in order to return him
to America?
____spoiler space_____
Why didn't they recognize the person they were taking back wasn't
actually Bachelor? I guess you could make a case for working off old
photographs, the way wars change soldiers (to the point where Tim
doesnt recognize Ransom), or something, but this questions nags me like
the wasp stings in Ia Thuc nagged me in KOKO.
Let me know what you think!
