I've heard two different things about the period for the movie. I've
heard
Spielberg was going to keep the story in the 19th century, and I've heard
somewhere just recently -- and not a reliable source -- that the tale will
be modernized. I hope they'll opt to keep in in the 19th century. It
just
makes it more interesting.
