I'm new to the group.

I just fnished reading *Timeline*
I've been disappointed.

.........Chrichton had given up sticking to his first original (and
wonderful) idea of multiverses while he was in the moddle of writing his
book
If they DID not travel back in time, how did they come back to THIS
universe'
If we can't change history, how comes Marek dies in the Middle Ages?
And if we do, why does Chrichton (through Doniger/Gordon speeches) denies
*the butterly effect*?
I'm really perplexed and delusional.
The book does not *work*, to me.
Any ideas?
