for some reason i'm visualising a little display rack arrangement, made
from carefully sanded cedar, about the size of a shoe-box. sixty-four
tiny metal springs are affixed by their ends to the inside of the box.

inserted through the skin of the ***** in eight rows of eight,
stretching it out like a little Stelarc. try not to move, or you'll tear
some of the hooks loose.
