Is that the definition of smart? I need new math here ... better
invent it. The Manhattan Project had some of that. (I know the
Manhattan Prokect is sort of icky, but those guys were pretty damn
smart, no question.)
Have we gotten too far off Sagan? I do think the inherent dangers of
science were a theme in his work, and almost certainly part of his
self-image.
