I've been viewing the the Bukster do***entary just about every day for
a week now and I start falling asleep whenever Neeli Cherkovski rants
on for more than 10 seconds or so. A few days ago it was Richmond that
sent me off to slumber land.
A few observations: Why wasn't Linda King interviewed? Was she asked?
Did she refuse?
How about Baldy? Is he still alive?
And Michael Montfort and Howard Sounes, the definitive picture taker
and biographer? Where were these guys? Maybe they've gotten too big
for their britches.
I suppose it would have been to much to go to Buk's maternal
grandmother's grave and film the headstone.
Uncle Fett? Still around?
The list is endless. (Mickey Rourke, Faye Dunaway, Brad and Tina Darby,
Jory (writer of cowboy stories) Sherman...)
Of course, the all-time greatest interview would be with the by now
60-ish Georgia Peckham-Krellner, she of the notorious photograph in
front of the the refridgerator.
